What is MANEGE FREI about?

SIGNAL ZIRKUS also hosts an alternative format called MANEGE FREI.

Every once in a while we organize an event that is even more open to public and is all about gathering electronic musicians of all kinds. MANEGE FREI mostly starts around 4 pm and consists of 2 parts.

CONCEPT

  • Part 1: SIGNAL ZIRKUS crew sets up tables each equipped with a small audio mixer. The artists showing up, are welcome to choose a table and set up their gear. More musicians will join and the jam can begin.
  • Part 2: „Der heiße Draht“ (the hot wire) – at the end of the afternoon most of the „tables“ created unique music through jamming. A cable is passed throughout the venue and each group comes to perform/present their jam to the other musicians.

Announcements for MANEGE FREI will go through our social media outlets as well as through our website. No application needed. Just be there at the gioven date and bring your favourite sound making device. We got you covered in case you don’t own any gear. We always have some electronics for this purpose.
